The Keystone Trail

The namesake of the beautiful Keystone Trail is the historic mining town of Keystone located just a few miles to the east.  This raucous gold rush town rode the highs and lows of gold fever until the bust of the early 1900s.  Down but not out, many of the unemployed hard rock miners then took jobs in the exciting  work taking place at Mt Rushmore.[/text_output][gap size=”250px” id=”” class=”” style=””]
