Our Cancelation Policy

A FULL refund will be issued if you notify the Stables by phone or e-mail a minimum of 24 hrs prior to your activity’s departure time.

Cancellations or changes to reservations must be made by telephone (605-574-3412) or e-mail contact (palmergulchstables@gmail.com) a MINIMUM of 24 hours before the scheduled departure time to avoid full charge.  All posted times are listed as DEPARTURE times.  Individuals or groups that miss their departure times will NOT be refunded.

Tours are conducted rain or shine unless canceled by Palmer Gulch Stables due to dangerous weather. A full refund is given to rides canceled by Palmer Gulch Stables and to cancellations made by customers more than 24 hours prior to departure time.


Long pants are recommended; closed-toed shoes are required for horseback riding.

All disabilities or health conditions must be disclosed to Palmer Gulch Stables prior to participating.

Horseback riding minimum age is 6 and maximum weight is 230 lbs

Palmer Gulch Stables reserves the right to refuse service.
